The Senate will next convene for legislative business at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 7, after standing in adjournment at 1:39 p.m. Friday, June 27.

The Senate will conduct a Pro Forma session on Monday, June 30 at 10:00 a.m., and then stand adjourned, until 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 7, under the provisions of H. Con. Res. 379, the Adjournment Resolution.

At 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 7, the Senate will be in Morning Business until 3:00 p.m., with Senators permitted to speak up to 10 minutes each.

Following Morning Business, the Senate will resume consideration of House message #2 to the Senate amendments to accompany H.R. 3221, the Housing bill.

At 5:30 p.m., the Senate will VOTE on cloture on the motion to concur with House amendment #2 to the Senate amendments to H.R. 3221, the Housing bill.

On Tuesday, July 8, at a time to be determined, the Senate will begin consideration of H.R. 6304, the FISA bill, with the following amendments in order:

• Leahy/ Dodd/Feingold amendment to strike the immunity provision (2 hours of debate, equally divided); • Specter amendment related to the bill (2 hours of debate, equally divided); and • Bingaman amendment re: telecom (60 minutes of debate, equally divided).

There will also be 60 minutes of general debate. Upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate will VOTE on the amendments (the Specter and Bingaman amendments will require 60 votes each to pass), the motion to invoke cloture on H.R. 6304, and, if cloture is invoked, passage of the bill.
