Pending:

The Senate will next convene at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 8 after standing in adjournment at 6:44 p.m. Monday, June 7.

At 10:00 a.m., it is expected the Senate will proceed to consideration of the House Message with respect to H.R. 4213, the Tax Extenders Bill.

At 12:30 p.m., the Senate will recess until 2:15 p.m. for the weekly policy lunches.

Roll call VOTES are possible Tuesday.

On Thursday, June 10, at a time to be determined, the Republican Leader or his designee will be recognized to move to proceed to the consideration of S.J. Res. 26, the EPA Resolution of Disapproval. There will be six hours of debate on the motion to proceed, equally divided between Senators Boxer and Murkowski or their designees. Upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate will VOTE on the motion to proceed. If the motion is agreed to, there will be one hour of debate, equally divided between Senators Boxer and Murkowski or their designees, prior to a VOTE on passage of the joint resolution. If the motion to proceed is not agreed to, no further motion to proceed to the joint resolution will be in order.

During Monday’s session of the Senate, 2 roll call votes were conducted:

Confirmed, 90-0: Executive Calendar #730, Audrey Goldstein Fleissig to be U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Missouri; and

Confirmed, 90-0: Executive Calendar #731, Lucy Haeran Koh to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of California.

1 Item Agreed to by Voice Vote:

Executive Calendar #759, Jane E. Magnus-Stinson to be U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Indiana.

1 Item Passed by Unanimous Consent:

S. Res. 512, a resolution designating June 2010 as "National Aphasia Awareness Month" and supporting efforts to increase awareness of aphasia.
