Pending:
The Senate will next convene at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 30 after standing in adjournment under the provisions of H. Con. Res. 214, the Adjournment Resolution, at 9:01 p.m. Saturday, November 21.
At 2:00 p.m., the Senate will be in Morning Business until 3:00 p.m., with Senators permitted to speak up to 10 minutes each.
Following Morning Business, the Senate will resume consideration of H.R. 3590, the Health Care bill. Majority Leader Reid or his designee will be permitted to offer the first amendment to Reid substitute amendment #2786. The next amendment in order will be from Republican Leader McConnell or his designee. No other amendments will be in order on Monday.
There will be no roll call VOTES on Monday.
At 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 1, the Senate will begin consideration of Executive Calendar #487, Jacqueline H. Nguyen, of California, to be United States District Judge for the Central District of California, for 30 minutes of debate, equally divided. Upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate will VOTE on confirmation.
